Modification of the creation form of the ticket

Hello everyone,

I have the latest version of GLPI - 10.0.16.

Is it possible to make a modification to a creation form of the ticket in next way?
I need to have a template implemented in Description (or maybe it is possible to create a new information field).
The main purpose of that to decrease the time for ticket resolution / reaction and make service better. Client can fill this information and engineer will connect faster.

Thanks in advance and sorry if it is has been already discussed somewhere.

You can use the Form Creator plugin (this is a first-party plugin) in GLPI 10 or earlier. The next major release of GLPI (11.0) will have the feature to create ticket forms and have a service catalog natively without requiring the plugin.

Thanks for the answer, it is much appreciated.

Could you please advise if it is better to wait GLPI 11.0 or I can modify forms by mentioned plugin?
I mean that plugin will modify some native configuration of GLPI and it may work incorrect in future, or am I wrong?

If you can get by with Ticket Templates, you could potentially wait for GLPI 11 (hopefully will have at least a beta before end of the year).

When GLPI 11 releases, I believe there will be a way (automatic or manual at least) to migrate forms from the plugin to GLPI itself.
