Hello ..!
I'm trying with the native inventory and its agent. I have a test server that when installed everything goes well. The agent installation is delayed, completely hidden from the user and I would like to know how I can change the agent configuration so that once installed it points to the production server.
For example, in which file is this configuration?
I have tried to reinstall again with the production server url thinking that it would override the configuration but it doesn't work.
Thanks!

Reinstalling the agent should have changed the URL... In general it is stored here:
regedit\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GLPI-Agent\server
Linux ubuntu-22.04.2-live-server-amd64, PHP 8.1.2, Apache 2.4.52, MariaDB 10.6.12, GLPI 10.0.15.
GLPI Inventory 1.3.5, PHP SAML 1.3.0, Oauth IMAP 1.4.3, Additional Fields, 1.21.8,Ticket Cleaner.

Hi!
I just registered to this forum because I'm about to create a topic for my own question. But since I just stumbled across this topic here, I might just as well put my two cents in.
As far as I know, there is no direct way of sending a mail when a new computer record is created. You could, however, create a saved search which finds every computer that has been created within the last hour (in the computers view search for "Characteristics - Creation date" - "after" - "-1 hour", then save that search using the "star" icon) and add an alarm to that saved search which is triggered every hour (or every 55 minutes if you want to be safe). I haven't tried this yet, but it should work.
The "install" button in the Software tab of a computer record does nothing real (at least no software installation). It is more like an "Add" button: it connects a software record in your database to that computer record, in case the software it isn't automatically inventoried by the agent. If you want to remotely install software on your comuters, there's a module in the GLPI Inventory Plugin, but in my opnion, it is quite hard to learn and to set up.

I hadn't thought about the list and the alert. It's a good idea... I go to try.
In the other things. I found a web where show the steps for configure and use this module
