Respond to ITILSolution

Hello. I am trying to respond to an ITILSolution created to a ticket, in the same way that the UI does. It seems to be a ITILFollowup, but it automatically accepts or rejects the solution, and updates the status of the ticket. Would love some guidance on whether it is a special SubItem or its just adding a ITILFollowup and then changing the status of the solution and the ticket after.

Re: Respond to ITILSolution

You should be able to add a new followup with a "add_close" property set to 1 to "Approve" the solution or "add_reopen" set to 1 to "Reject" the solution.

Re: Respond to ITILSolution

Thank you! That was exactly what I needed. Just wondering, where is the documentation that tells you what inputs are allowed for each item type? I've been eyeballing them based on the return items, but clearly that isn't the correct approach.

Re: Respond to ITILSolution

No, there isn't documentation on that. The current API is far too low-level to be able to create and maintain documentation for it. We are adding a new API in GLPI 11 that is more user friendly and fully documented.
Initial PR for the new API to get an idea of what is coming:
