Settings in Tasks

Hello!

Is it possible to set Duration mandatory when answering tasks in tickets? Or at least make it auto set in "1 hour" every time I start to answer the task?
At the moment, I use Behaviors plugin and the configuration "Task category is mandatory" works, I would like the same in Duration and in Groups.
In my IT department, it is essential to answer Duration in every task, but not everyone does it.
Another thing I wish was possible is to force Group answer in task, or make it auto answer the Group from the user.

I use GLPI 10.0.15.

Re: Settings in Tasks

It really helps a lot! But I'm looking for something that comes already set. Like a Default Task template.

Re: Settings in Tasks

You can use Ticket Templates.
You can enhance even further, with ticket templates by category!

if you just want to add a task block:

Step 1  - Create a task template
Home » Setup » Dropdowns » Task templates

Step 2  - Create a ticket template
Home » Assistance » Tickets » Ticket templates

Add predefined fields » Task you have just created

Step 3  - Make it default for new tickets
Home » Administration » Profiles
Self-service (or other profile)

Assistance » Default ticket template

Re: Settings in Tasks

It's close of what I needed, but in tasks, not categories.
I managed to do it using triggers in the database, every time I add a task, will add 1 hour duration (if is blank) and will autofill the group in the task.
