Fix language setting for everyone

Dear,

I'm wondering if there is a way to fix the language setting to English? I know you can set the default language, but the user is still able to change this. So, my question is if it is possible to fix the setting, so the user cannot change it?

Only if you want to prevent all personalization settings from being changed. You can remove the Personalization permission from the user's profile(s) in the Setup tab.

So, if we do this, not even superadmin can change something?

And where exactly can I change this? I see the Personalization area in the general setup (as superadmin) but I haven't seen anywhere a possibility to change the permission.

You should read the GLPI user documentation if you don't know how to manage permissions in GLPI.

Profiles are under Administration > Profiles.

Dear cconard96, thank you for the link. But although I removed the personalization rights I still can read and change the language settings.

I see as well in https://glpi-user-documentation.readthe … ences.html, stating (for the personalization tab): This tab allows you to modify the general display preferences applied to a given user. These parameters take priority over those defined in the general configuration.
