Hi,
I'm giving Fedora Silverblue a shot, the Atomic GNOME spin. And I try to figure out the best way to install the GLPI Agent. Has anybody any experiences to share while I further investigate on my own?
I try to avoid layering packages on the base image but if there's no other way I'll do it. For example, we use Puppet for configuring our machines, and the puppet agent requires to run uncontainerized with full access to the machine. I guess it's a similar issue with the GLPI Agent.
One issue I stumbled upon is that Silverblue does not come with Perl installed. So I think I need to layer at least the packages for the Perl interpreter.
I'd love to read of your experiences.

/tmp/.mount_glpi-a5VRfJU/usr/bin/perl: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Or did I misinterpret the message? The appimage provides its own perl but it's missing libcrypt?

As far as I can tell from the message, Perl is included but the referenced library is not.
I don't work on the agent development at all though. You may have better luck finding a solution by opening a bug report or discussion on the GLPI Agent GitHub.
