Hello,
I've been able to sucessfully inventory a network device over SNMPv3.
The device is imported, everything looks fine.
I cant figure out few things:
1. where did the name 'management' came from? Router has multiple IP - all of them have been put into glpi. But how did it figure out what is management?
I have some interfaces that are loopbacks, some are client facing - all of them have been inventoried and assigned to proper interface like sfp1, sfp2 etc ...
But why some of them are assigned a second time to a network named 'management' - How do I control this?
2. I create a task to refresh all the information of the network device.
It seems that that GLPI is trying to inventory by the wrong IP
I get
SNMP communication error: no response from host X.X.X.X
X.X.X.X - one of the IP of the device - in that case one of the unreacheable one - not used for management. Not the one that should be used.
This is problem - how to force GLPI inventory to use specific IP of device - or maybe FQDN of device?
Regards
BZ
