Associate Generic Object to Appliance?

Hi,

I'm evaluating the use of the Appliances option (under Management) and I'm trying to associate a new type of object created with the GenericObject plugin. Is this possible?
I can associate "default" GLPI items (computer, monitor, etc) to an Appliance but can't seem to associate new object type created with GenericObject.

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. It is impossible to add objects created with the GenericObject plugin to Appliances.

Is there a solution to this?
