Hello all and greetings from Portugal!
I'm pretty new on GLPI and I'm struggling about some automation.
I've already implemented SSO using a plugin called Single Sign-on from Edgard Lorraine Messias.
This part it's working fine.
Now I'm trying to create an automation so that the user logins for the first time, gets automatically inserted on it's entity.
I've been trying to do this with "Authorization assignment rules" but for some reason, when the users sign-in for the first time, it's gets assigned to the top entity instead of one of it's child (that i configured in the rule)
Can someone please help me with this?
Best Regards,
Diogo Sousa

Is it possible that the rule isn't matching at all and is matching on another rule or simply applying the default profile (there is an option on the main tab of each profile to make it the default)?

Hello and thank for your reply.
I really can't understand. I've already disabled the default rule "Root".
My Entities are something like this:
Main Entity
- childentity1
- childentity2
- childentity3
Now, I go to Administration > Rules > Authorizations assingment rules
The rule states:
Criteria:
authentication type > is > GLPI internal database
Email > contains > childentity1.com
Actions:
Entity > assign > main entity > childentity
Am I doing something wrong?
Best regards,
