Hello together,
we need in our templates "required fields".
So that nobody forget so set the "serial number" of a product.
Do you have any ideas?
Best Regards

Since version 0.83, you have mandatory fields, hidden fields and predefined fields in the template of glpi
CentOS 6.5 - CentOS 7.x
PHP 5.6 - PHP 7.x - MySQL 5.6 - MariaDB 10.2 + APC + oOPcache
GLPI from 0.72 to dev version

You open your template and in 0.83 you have 3 new tabs for mandatory, predefined and hidden fields

Is this actually true for 'computer inventory' items, because I have only seen the ability to set fields as mandatory in ticket templates.
Thanks.

Good afternoon,
I just installed GLPI 10.0.11 and I would like to set some fields as required when we register an asset in computers.
I have been researching and from what I see it is only possible to create required fields in ticket templates or using the "Form validation" plugin
Is there an option to create mandatory fields in computers without the need for a plugin?
