How to delete assets completely through commandline or API?

Hi,
this is related to https://forum.glpi-project.org/viewtopic.php?id=289194 (NGINX timeouts when deleting objects). As this doesn't work well in our setup, I'd like to completely delete assets (mainly computers including associated devices) either via commandline or Rest API, but I have huge problems, finding the appropriate documentation. Are there commandline tools and Rest API available at all, which can do that?
