Search doesn't include knowledgebase answers

Is there some way to search in knowledgebase answers?
By default the search only seems to look in the question field.
The global search function doesn't include the knowledgebase/FAQ

The motor search of the KB  look in question AND answer field.

I know that there is a feature request from 8 years ago but I don't know if it's still relevant.

All the tecnicians search using the global search.

possibile solution:
how about adding a prominent link (at the top) which if clicket take you to the KB search?
