Make all emails send in English

Hello,
My user profile default language and the Entity default language are both set to English. However, all email notifications are being sent in French. Can someone advise where I change this?

Which version of GLPI are you using?

My non-English comments are automated translations. Sorry for any confusion that causes.

I think I found this in Template Translation. So I edited the default and changed it to English. Now whenever I add a comment to a ticket or make a change to a ticket no notification is generated at all!

Just for those that experience the same problem with GLPI not generating notifications when it should, I have no explanation. It stopped doing it for half a day, now it's working normally again and I didn't change anything related to notifications. I'm losing faith fast in this solution, it seems over-complicated and unreliable.
