Dear all,
I have been banging my head against this all morning and have made no progress thus I turn to you
I have created two different ticket templates. The first is the "standard template" which is linked to the profile of the user. When a user with this profile opens a ticket it automatically uses the "standard template". This works fine.
The second (and subsequent) template(s) should be either chosen by the person opening the ticket (I have understood this is not possible in GLPI) or it auto-completes when a certain category is selected (I believe this is how it works in GLPI?). I have created this second template with the predefined fields which auto fill the fields: title, description, location and of course the category. What I assumed would happen is that once the category is selected (and the ticket auto reloads) that the data is then filled in however it reloads but nothing changes. I guess that doing it this way does not link the category selection to the template.
My question is how do I affect my template to a specific category so that it auto fills? I have read the GLPI documentation but am no closer to understanding how it works. Any help would be very much appreciated!
GLPI version: 9.5.4
We only plan to use the assistance module.
Thank you for any help you can provide !

Finally found what I was doing wrong. Ticket template needs to be added in the area where you create the category in the "dropdown" section where you edit the category itself.
