rule using DN/OU from AD to put inventoried assets in entities

Is it possible to assign an asset inventoried by GLPI automatically using an OU/DN from GLPI as tagging is not suitable for us because people can move on regular basis to another HQ and asset management can be spread to these HQs :

for example we have site A and site B, dept 1 and 2 : dept 1 can manage their assets on Site A and B and dept 2 as well ! The entity in this case, should be managed by the dept !

Is it possible to do that please ?

PS : we don't see an LDAP criteria in the list of criterias proposed in "rules for assigning an item to an entity"

GLPI doesn't look in LDAP for any asset data and that isn't part of the GLPI Inventory specification either currently (and I'm not sure how much the GLPI Agent could know).
