E-mail notifications doesn't work GLPI 10.0.<

I checked on different GLPI versions from 10.0 and up and with different email account settings. Email notifications still don't work. I checked sending methods such as: PHP, SMTP, SMTP + SSL, SMTP + TLS. None of these work.

The message is:
"Failed to send test email to administrator
Having trouble configuring the advanced GLPI module? We will help you solve them. Register at https//services.glpi-network.com for help."

I'm having the same problem
Updated from 10.0.2 to 10.0.8 and then it's not working anymore.
(also Receivers didn't work and had to check every combination of imap configuration in order to make it work)

I'm having the same problem
Updated from 10.0.2 to 10.0.8 and then it's not working anymore.
(also Receivers didn't work and had to check every combination of imap configuration in order to make it work)

My problem was a combination of old email server and newer openssl requirements
Had to lower the openssl requirements in my installation.
