GLPI Plugins

Good day,

we are using the free version of GLPI and would like to use plugins. We would need the "Fields" plug in and the "Generic Object" plug in. In the catalog these plugins would be available for download via Github but on the GLPI homepage these plugins are listed under "Standard Plugins" which requires "Standard" subscription.

My question, can I download these plugins via Github and use them legally or do I have to buy the subscription?

I think there is some confusion about plugin support when you pay for the professional support.
GLPI itself is completely free as are many first-party, partner and community plugins.
There is no technical difference between the core GLPI product whether you get it for free from GitHub, through a cloud instance, etc.

When looking at the full brochure for the available subscriptions, plugins like Generic Object and Fields only have official technical support when used with the higher tiers. The plugins are completely available to use without a GLPI-Network subscription though. As you can see on their GitHub page, the Issues section is disabled. If you try to enter a bug report on GitHub, it would direct you to contact about professional support. If you have an issue with the plugins, the only option is community support on the forums without a subscription.

There are a few plugins from Teclib' which can only be used with a higher tier of GLPI-Network subscription, and those can be found here:
