Hi,
I'm just starting with GLPI, so expect newbie questions in the [time unit] to come...
I have several default users, which probably came with GLPI. Is it safe to delete these?
The users I'm referring to are:
post-only
tech
normal
glpi-system
glpi

Definitely leave the system account as-is. It is used for at least to add the automatic reminders to a ticket when using the Pending Reasons feature.
The other accounts are safe to remove once you have at least one other user with the Super Admin profile. However, I would recommend leaving the default glpi account but just disabling it and changing the password. This way, you always have a local user account with full access that you can easily re-enable by changing the is_active field in the DB if you ever somehow get locked out. This is especially important if you were going to use accounts linked with an LDAP/Active Directory server only.
