Hi everyone,
I have been struggling with an issue I can't wrap my head around.
I'm trying to setup follow-up notifications using the new SMTP + OAUTH method.
My app is hosted on an OVH web cloud server and I'm using Microsoft Exchange Online to send emails.
I created my Azure app and added client ID, tenant ID and secret in GLPI.
I set the callback URL as the return URI in Azure.
The email sender i the one I'm authenticated with.
Port : 25
When I try to send the test mail, I receive the generic message "Failed to send test email". I tried with different options for the SMTP host like "smtp.office365.com", "ssl0.ovh.net" (as I have that entry in my OVH DNS) or "mydomain..mail.protection.outlook.com" (that one is crashing the webserver).
If anyone has any idea I haven't tested yet, please help !
I have also tried and failed to locate a log file that could contain more information on that failure.
Regards,
Rudy

Hi WebGreg,
Thanks for your quick response !
I have indeed searched and followed a tutorial of this kind but I am still facing the issue.
Moreover, this is for using the collectors with the Oauthimap plugin. For the time being I'm more concerned with sending emails using the glpi build-in method than receiving them !

"This SMTP Server - domain.mail.protection.outlook.com only allows sending email to internal emails (on the same tennant). If you want to send outside you have to use smtp.office365.com"

We are on a fresh cloud instance (licensed) and running into exactly this issue. Did anyone ever find a solution?
I am wondering whether it has to do with conditional access rules?
