How can I add SNMP printers to GLPI?
Offline
Hi alexniko,
you can use glpi-netinventory script to generate locally XML inventories and submit then to GLPI with glpi-injector script.
You can also install glpi-inventory plugin to handle netdiscovery and netinventory tasks to achieve this more automatically.

1. I install GLPI-AGENT 1.4 on win 10 workstation (include NetInventory and NetDiscovery support) and set SERVER URL https://server/plugins/glpiinventory/
2. I install GLPI-PLUGIN on server by copy to plugins directory
3. Set SNMP v2 credential on GLPI server
4. Set network range
5. Create task. Select ip address range as target and win10 as Actor. Select Module method as Network Inventory (SNMP)
Nothing happens. No any new info in log. I have inventory only win10 as computer. Not any info about SNMP (debug level 2)

When using the plugin, you always first need to start a NetDiscovery task. After that task has run, you can "prepare" the NetInventory one so GLPI Inventory plugin can tell to the agent which ips from the range supports SNMP.

Yeh. Thanks. Have strange. I did NetDiscovery and than NetInventory just for one range (management vlan). And I have lot of questions
1. Why in my unmanaged devices appears Cisco CapWap access points and IP phones. Any of this equipment in diff ip range (is net discovery analyse CDP) ?
2. All of my switches is a stacks from 3 to 7 switches. In network devices I have each of stack member separated. Is it possible to fix it or is a feature ?

1. Yes, CDP is checked to find connections. If this devices are inventoried in another way, GLPI will link them automatically.
2. This is a feature.
