Few question about LDAP

I have two questions.

1. How can I automate importing users into GLPI from Miscosoft AD. I have a domain with over 1600 users.  Would it be enough to just add groups.

2. Why if I specify LDAP filter (&(objectClass=user)(ObjectCategory=person)) in the authentication section, but when I try to import I see computers including
