Ticket status is Assigned when just transfered to a group - want new

Hi

when a user create a new ticket, this ticket is automatically assigned to a group, redarding the category

problem, ticket goes to the right group, but as status Assigned

i want the ticket to remain as status New, until a real person take the ticket himself.

how can i do that ?
i tried setting a template that put the status to new, but it doesn't work, ticket still coming as Assigned, to the group, with no real people behind processing.

That is not possible. The status changes to assigned as soon as anything is assigned. It doesn't matter if it is a user, group or supplier. There may be legitimate use cases where a ticket is not managed by specific users alone but instead handled by a group.

Currently, it isn't possible to override this behavior.
