Hello,
I'm trying to setup GLPI 10.0.5 at the company and tried the native inventory function but have some questions.
I searched via Google and within this forum but couldn't find the answers.
Somehow the agent worked only via manual trigger on the client side.
But when the agent runs as a service (in managed execution mode) I should be able to initiate the network discovery and set up some IP ranges from the central GLPI Server, right?
But the inventory page under Administration does not show me any possibilities to set up such task. What do I miss?
Can someone please let me know? That I didn't found at the documentation.
Further more out of curiosity I deactivated it via the checkbox "Enable inventory".
But the assets found by NetDiscovery are still marked right next to the name with an icon "Automatic Inventory".
But that's not valid anymore, right? Shouldn't it be hidden now? Because if I forget that I've disabled it then this icon may irritate me or gives me the feeling that inventory is still running.
Can I disable single devices which were found via NetDiscovery before? Is there a way? Maybe for some devices within a scan range I don't want them to be updated
