GLPI 10.0.6 LDAP Filter/import issues

Hi All,

Ive had LDAP sync working for a while, but when i changed the password on the GLPI for AD user and ticked the []clear box.
The AD connection test work 100% but when i try to import users i get the following error
glpiphplog.WARNING: *** PHP Warning (2): ldap_search(): Search: Operations error in glpi\src\AuthLDAP.php at line

I've tried restoring the entire GLPI virtual machine to just before i changed the password and it works 100% but once i put in a new password for the LDAP bind user and tick [clear] box i cannot import users.

I've even tried upgrading to 10.0.7 nightly build with no luck.

Anyone have a solution to this issue? 
I have a production server were none can login due to this sync being off :-(
