[SOLVED] Active Directory auth - Read Only User?

Hi,

do I need for the AD auth an read/write AD account?
The purpose is, that I setup an test enviroment and I haven't a account for read/write the AD.

Is is sufficient to work with an readonly account for import objects or synchronise accounts from AD?

Hello,

we use read only AD accounts (the default in AD) for import and syncing, and it works fine

after I enter the rigth DN it works well too!
