New Release Notifications

Since GLPI doesn't appear to offer any sort of sensible repo to point at, is there a notification system in place in order to notify your end users of a new release being put out there?

Do you mean the availability of a new GLPI version?
Setup -> automatica actions -> Checkupdate ?

Kaya84, thanks for the suggestion.  Does this "automatic action" actually DO something though, other than check for a new version?  Does it send an email if a new version is available, or does a popup window appear upon login if a new version is available?  What does the "automatic action" actually do outside of just checking for a new version?

On the bottom left, you will se " A new version is available: 10.0.5.    "

If you want a notification for new relase, use github : https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/releases
