Hi!
Let me explain myself.
I work for a company that have multiple agencies across a territory.
Computers/Users are affected to an agency (entity), but can move across all agencies if needed and can work from VPN connection (location).
IT services is centralized, every IT member can see all entities.
Entity tree is created.
All locations are created under root-directory as sub-entity (VPN users have one dedicated location).
I've already managed to import computer with automatic inventory (with GLPI-agent).
Computer and peripherals (monitors) are affected to entities by inventory TAG.
Computer and peripherals are located by IP.
Computer component are affected in root-entity, no problem with this.
So far so good.
Now i want computer/peripherals to be automaticaly transfered between entities when computer inventory TAG changed (LDAP OU changed).
I've seen that we can create transfer rules and set it in entity to apply automaticaly with inventory check.
So I've create a rule and tested it manually.
Computer and peripherals are affected to the selected entity.
Computer and peripherals where located by IP but locations where duplicated under new entity, this issue was solved by making all locations sub-entity.
Computer components are affected to the selected entity, I want them to stay in the root entity (I don't want the same component for each agency when reviewing them), but I dont know how to make all component sub-entity automaticaly, or if this will even work as locations did.
What can I do?
Thanks in advance for the help!

OK.
I've got it working as I want by setting the transfer rule to delete all component on transfer.
Now when component are recreated by automatic inventory, they are placed in the root entity.
