Hi every1,
since we've some visually impaired users who need to use special devices in order to "see" something, they reported the added animations in version 10.0 (and newer) are causing a lot of trouble for them. Version 9.x was already a bit problematic, but still usable for them, after the upgrade to version 10.x they're more or less "blind" as the devices they need to use, e.g. a magnify device, automatically jump around to whatever is animated. When the animation stops, they've to manually correct their "screen" each time and move the focus back on whatever they wanted to do.
Now I'm not required to use such a device so I can only describe their problems and what they told me is their problem.
So short question, how may I disable animations alltogether ? It doesn't matter that a full page load might take some seconds more, but the GLPI will be usable again for them.

Any luck to disable animation?

The issues with animations for users with accessibility needs aren't unique to GLPI. There are OS/browser settings that can be set to reduce animations and for the most part, the styles in GLPI respect those settings.
See the following MDN page for more information about the related CSS feature and ways to specify the preference for reduced animations/motion in your OS/browser:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc … ced-motion
If things are stealing focus when they shouldn't be, I will need to know which components are doing that to look into it more.

I appreciate very much for your reply, but sadly i cannot show you the url link or image in this forum, basically you can tell the annoying animation comes from pages of server-address/central.php, server-address/asset.php, server-address/assisstance.php.
The information boxes on these dashboard pages would be broken when first loading the page, need to refresh several times to show them correctly.
The fancy useless dashboard causes lot of eyesores by these broken boxes and animation, i sincerely there can offer end user a way to disable them.

Bit late, but as example that animated toast that slides in, shakes, slides out is causing some problems - also the dashboard as mentioned. The devices in use are not for completely blind users, this type of users navigates through using the tab key and by some signals on a special keyboard they can "read" what's there. That's ok so far.
Apart this some other users we use extreme zoom devices because they still can see, but need to work with very high zoom levels (browser zoom level to maximum + a special screen magnify tool) and these tools "flicker" if there's something sliding in / out / shaking as it might be some important information is shown there that needs attention. You might blame the software and the "modern web" here, but watching videos isn't what they're doing anyways.
The link you provided doesn't help much, there're some CSS workarounds but since JavaScript is used (somewhere deep within) that doesn't help.
After all we helped us by using another software the Fusioninventory plugin recommends that sticks to the 9.x codebase.

This link I provided was simply for a reference on disabling animations at the browser or OS level. GLPI will respect those settings at least for the toast notification.

That is purely the opinion and decision of the Fusioninventory developer to not support GLPI 10 well. We have an official fork and improvement over FusionInventory. There is the GLPI Agent (fork of FusionInventory agent), native inventory features in GLPI itself compatible with GLPI Agent and FusionInventory Agent, and the GLPI Inventory plugin which handles some advanced features from FusionInventory that haven't been added directly into GLPI yet.
