GLPI 10.0.3 Native Inventory - how to add a custom field

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to add a custom field to the new native inventory on GLPI 10.0.3?

Re: GLPI 10.0.3 Native Inventory - how to add a custom field

I find this forum really awkward. Most of the posts go unanswered. Some are really old.
Anyways. I found a way to add a custom field to the native inventory using the fields plugin (github.com/pluginsGLPI/fields). It works well except for the fact that if one selects a dropdown list created by the plugin and then a value is changed in another dropdown list from native inventory, the dropdown list from the plugin will revert its value as it was before. Reported at:

Re: GLPI 10.0.3 Native Inventory - how to add a custom field

Hi,

your problem sounds like the same one that I have been trying to solve: Using the native inventory to import asset data (JSON format) that has custom fields.
Can you explain a bit how you solved this? Or did it work out of the box with the fields plugin?

Thanks a lot!
