[SOLVED] Problem with logging into the local account

Hi

Today I noticed that I can't log into my local account. I normally use a domain account. After checking the authentication method - it's different than I had in version 9.

1. This is how it looked in version 9:

\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

2. View in version 10.0.6 (here the source is not even my AD server, but the mail server):

\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

3. This is how the domain user configuration looks like - correct.

Re: [SOLVED] Problem with logging into the local account

There is a bug that causes the authentication information to show "LDAP directory" instead of "Mail server".
I don't know how the authentication changed unless there is an issue where the internal GLPI account has an email that exists in that mail server and it was accidentally changed to a mail account because of that. Personally, I don't add an email to the default accounts.

You can try re-converting it to an internal account from the Synchronization tab, although it may only be a temporary fix depending on how it got changed to being with.

Re: [SOLVED] Problem with logging into the local account

It works after reconversion but I had to set the password again.

However, I'm afraid of another change in the background, which I will only notice when problems arise and I will have to use this account..

I don't remember setting up an email for this account. It's possible that GLPI added it automatically due to login coincidence. Maybe that's why it looks so strange with the double @ sign.

Just in case, I added another local administrator account with a different name than what I have e-mail addresses on the mail server.

Thanks.
