Migrate 9.5.11 -> 10.05 - Test glpi-inventory

Hi,

I test the migration from glpi 9.5.11 to the current 10.05.

The migration of Data would be fine, so I start with testing the glpi-inventory.

I've setup an copy from our glpi to glpi1005
The webserver is available over the webfrontend. I replace fusioninventpry with glpi inventory from the marktplace.

Now I tried to trigger an inventory from an client.

Is it possible to use the existing fusioninventory agent on client, only switch the server address? Or it is neccessary to use the new Client?
It is an question of deploy the new client to all our workstations and servers, with our deployment (don't use the fusioninventory for that) I could do this, but when I doesn't have to do it it would be fine,...

And for the linux machines there is the fusioninventory client in the official repositories,...

But for my first test I got with fusioninventory agent as like glpi agent:

[Thu Nov 10 13:40:16 2022][info] sending prolog request to server0
[Thu Nov 10 13:40:16 2022][error] [http client] internal response: 500 Can't connect to glpi1005.peiker-holding.de:443 (Bad file descriptor), hostname verification failed
[Thu Nov 10 13:40:16 2022][error] No answer from server at https://glpi1005.peiker-holding.de/mark … inventory/

I test the other variants too. even on http.
And the webfrontend works,...

Bye

Gregor

Re: Migrate 9.5.11 -> 10.05 - Test glpi-inventory

Both fusion or glpi_agent works with 10.0.5.
But each have his own url
/plugins/fusioninventory for fusion
/marketplace/glpiinventory for glpi_agent

We delete fusion and replace by glpi_agent on all our client PC (windows 10)
Our GLPI linux server have SSL like yours and we need to have the no_ssl_check registry option on client side set to 1.
and it's works

When I call the URL from client with an browser I got:

You don't have permission to perform this action.

Is there any authentification necessary?

I found it:

I've to enable inventory under Administration -> Inventar.

Now I got some data.

Re: Migrate 9.5.11 -> 10.05 - Test glpi-inventory

And for now I could inventory with an old fudion inventory agent to the current glpi inventory.

Even to marketplace/glpiinventory/

So wee dont't have to change all Clients imediatly.
