New Followup Notifications by Email

Hello everyone!

I'm really new with using GLPI and need your help. How can we avoid to send an email notification to the requester everytime he adds a followup? I want that requesters only get the email notification when a technician answers but not a notification of their own answer.
Is there any way to set a rule for this?

As far as I know, this is default action and (for now) you can't disable this when using email notifications (you can disable this if your users are using web interface).
I was looking for the same answer when I started using GLPI and found this answer.

Users can change the "Notifications for my changes" option in their preferences to "No" to avoid getting notifications for their own actions.
Like the other user preferences, you can change the default value of the option in Setup > General > Default Values
