Hello,
I've come across an issue I found while configuring GLPI with two instances connected to the same database and a load balancer to balance the traffic between both instances.
When accessing the endpoint of the LB I can see GLPI's login page from either instances, but when trying to login to one of the instances, the page crashes saying you have been redirected too many times, then it refreshes itself and redirects me to GLPI's front page for some moments and finally crashes redirecting me to the following URL:
https:// glpi . example . intra/ajax/dashboard.php?dashboard=central&action=get_dashboard_items&embed=0
With my understanding of the troubleshooting I've done, this is due to the "URL of the Application" is blank, in case I insert the IP of one of the instances, seems just fine, however then the LB is not doing its job.
Note: Also I have a NFS mount on instance 1 for all directories inside /glpi/files/ besides the logs directory.
Any clue on why is this happening?

João Gonçalves

What happens if you set the URL of the Application to your LB URL on both instances instead of leaving it blank?

Hello,
In case I set the URL to my LB, the same problem occurs, I can login, the main dashboard is loaded but then I keep getting redirected and eventually the page will crash and just display a blank page.
I set the URL of the Application to localhost and it fixed the issue but not entirely. Since sometime GLPI is redirecting the User's login to the URL defined on that setting, sometimes I'm being redirected to the localhost of my machine instead of pointing to the localhost of instance1 or instance2.
Thanks for your reply!
