Hi everyone,
I know we can create task templates. But is also possible to add checkboxes in that template, so that the technician can check an item when it's completed?
I don't know if this is important, but now we're using version 9.5.7 and soon we will change to version 10.

Hi everyone, can someone confirm if it would be possible using the forms plugin?

I don't know the forms plugin very well so I cannot say. For GLPI itself, I don't know of any good way to add checkboxes into the rich-text fields like the content of tasks and task templates.
A workaround is to have one task for each item with a default state of "To do" This will add a checkbox in the task itself that you can click to mark as complete.

@cconard96, thanks for the suggestions. Do you think it is also possible to assign a couple of tasks using rules?

There is a "Task template" rule action for Business Rules For Tickets that will probably allow you to add tasks based on templates but I haven't personally used it to say for sure.

Dear cconard96, no problem. In any case thanks a lot for your suggestions. I'll be playing with this a bit and see if I can get this to work.

hi there,
@jvuz did you find a good way to add checkboxes to glpi tasks (or followup) ?
I'm looking for a good and userfriendly way to do this
Offline
Yes, we use the setting "to do" in the tasks, as those are tasks, and then a checkbox is shown which you can check, once a task is finished.

yes this is the classic glpi way ... It is not the best way when you want to add a bundle of tasks
thank you
