Dear All,
I've migrated a glpi installation from a debina system to RHEL5.
so I've dumped the DB on old system and restored on the new one. AD authentication is working on old install and I'able to login with AD user or glpi user.
I've also upgraded glpi from 0.7RC to 0.70.1a
So I've copied new 070.1a file on old glpi dir; restored permission of files and config folder; imported the old database.
As expected accessing http://myhost/login it prompt to me for DB upgrade.
Once the upgrade is done I can't login. It prompt to me user/password again.
I've tried with AD use and with glpi user. In the old system I'm still able to login with both the account.
I've also removed config_db.php and upgraded again the DB without success. http-ldap is installed and https too.
I can expect the AD plugin is not working but it's strange that I can't login as glpi/glpi.
Do you have any Idea??
Regards
L.

update RC to final version may cause big troubles because DB may have changes.
activate debug mode to have more details : debug=2 in glpi_config

Thank for your reply,
I've not fond teh glpi_config file but I've enable debug mode in config.php and set it to level 2.
Now If I try to login I've the following error:
PHP ERROR: undefien index in /var/www/html/glpi/inc/auth.class.php at line 255
PHP ERROR: undefien index in /var/www/html/glpi/login.php at line 239
Could be possible that I can't login due to the glpi server name change?!?
Thank you
L.

I've changed glpi in degug mode on old server and exported the DB; then I've reimported all the db on the new server.
the problem seems to be still the same:
I try to login I've the following error:
PHP ERROR: undefien index in /var/www/html/glpi/inc/auth.class.php at line 255
PHP ERROR: undefien index in /var/www/html/glpi/login.php at line 239
Any idea?
thank's L.

No,
I've droped the DB with trouble; recreated an empty one; then reexported the working DB ver 0.7RC and then I've reimported it.
Still no luck.
I've checked the glpi_user and MD5 password seems to be ok; maybe I could export the DB 0.7RC excluding glpi_user; and reimport it again on the new server?

and for my question ?
deleted field in glpi_users ?
update from RC -> stable is not support by the update process.
So you may have troubles. You need to check all database tables to find differences...

As written in my previuos post no, I've not touched any table; only exported and reimported the full glpi DB.
Thank you

pfff... third and last :
is the deleted field in glpi_users ?
and another one :
is the active field in glpi_users ?
and I repeat : we always say : do not use RC in production.
If you do not want to answer to my questions I will stop to try to help you.

Oh Sorry!
Now I've understood...
Yes the deletd field is present on glpi_users but active filed is missing!
Shall I create this field on the new DB?
Sorry again

yes you need but you will have others problems I think.
You can try to force the update process modifying the version field of glpi_config to ' 0.68.3'.
