Data migration - two installations

Hi
After organizational changes, we have 2 GLPI installations in our company (both 9.5.x). Is it possible to transfer assets (computers, printers, devices, network devices) from one installation to another?
I want to move the devices along with the tickets.
There is such a thing as exporting data from one installation and importing to another?

Re: Data migration - two installations

There is no built-in feature for transferring data between GLPI instances. Typically, organizational separations are done within a single GLPI instance using Entities and there is a supported way to transfer assets between entities.

Since the internal IDs for assets and other items are auto-incremented numbers, transferring them to another server (especially if they already have data) would be difficult and would break existing links.

Re: Data migration - two installations

I understand that I can't do this with the built-in tools. But did anyone transfer the history of tickets?
Maybe after switching the computers / devices to the new GLPI installation (OCS Inventory), it would be possible to migrate the only tickets with some SQL queries?
Anyone doing something like that? I would not like to damage the database, especially if it turned out in some time, e.g. when upgrading GLPI.

I care the most about the history of tickets (over 5000)...
