ocs ng automatic import

Hi,

When I go to tools->Ocsng I have a choice to:

1. Syncronize computers already imported
2. Import new computers
3...
4...

When I click those items I can import everything just fine.
But I want this to happen automatically? How can I do this?
In setup->ocsng I had "Number of computers to synchronize using the cron" set to 50 (changed to 20 now)
Am I overlooking something?

Kind regards
Yves

Re: ocs ng automatic import

cron job is launch each 5 minutes. So it will sync or import computers if you use GLPI.
But set it to 50 may cause troubles because memoryèlimit and timeout can be not set to permit it.

I've set it to 10 now.
But, I got already 27 updated systems in that list now.
As long as I don't import them manually, the list just keeps growing.

Am I overlooking something?

EDIT: Working now! I guess setting it to 10 solved the problem :-) tnx

EDIT2: No, again same problem now. Was set to 10 and I see  17 updated pc's again.
(I've waited longer dan 5 minutes) Any idea's?

Re: ocs ng automatic import

Can someone point me in the right direction where I can set/check this cronjob? Coz it ain't working for me and having to import manually all the time is not the nice way for about 2500pc's :-)
Server is running debian etch.

tnx

checking the logs show me the cron is done correctly though, the computers keep appearing in the list shown ready to update/import

Hmmm it looks like those "cron" logs are generated from my "manual" import.
When I leave it alone for a while nothing new is appearing in the logs
I also found this in the sql-errors.log

Script: /glpi/front/cron.php
SQL: SELECT glpi_id FROM glpi_ocs_link WHERE ocs_id= AND ocs_server_id=1
Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND ocs_server_id=1' at line 1

Any suggetions?

Re: ocs ng automatic import

use the ocs_mass_import plugin if you have 2500 computers.

I 've installed this plugin, but I can't configure it.
I get "plugins" in the menu and when I hit plugins I get "Configuration of plugin OCS Massive import"
but there is nothing in there? Glpi version is latest 0.70.2 and I already tried chmod everything in plugins to 777.

Many tnx.
Y.
