Network scan, denied import

Hello everyone, I was able to run through an agent installed on a LAN PC, to start scanning them to search for new devices in the network and then be able to inventory them. I am faced with a difficulty regarding the import rules.

Hi frankz66,

by default, import rules need a device has a name AND a serial number.

There's a rule (disabled by default as it can be problematic in few cases) which permits to import by MAC address. In your case, this rule would permit to import the HPF0921CFB49B7 device.

Anyway, don't expect to import computers this way, you must install an agent on computers.

Otherwise, it is possible your devices are not well supported by the agent. Do you know which kind of devices are behind this refused devices ?

Thank you for responding.

I checked everything related to printer ..... the options are not to deny import or anything else.
