File upload via rest api

Hello,

I'm trying to post a file via rest api. Documentation about uploading files is not clear enough for me, i don't know how to compose 'uploadManifest', which parameters add to the uploadManifest. I would appreciate if someone could provide me an example how to post a simple .txt file via rest api with all necessary parameters included to 'uploadManifest'.
