Incoming e-mails to create a ticket

I resolved the issue it was a mistake of myself.

The basis setup in order for it to work is (in my case)

Add a mail gateway (Setup > Mail gateway)
name: test
server: mail.someserver.com

login: username
password: password

LEAVE Email and port blank ! (That was my issue)

Now i only need to get the emails to be retrieved automatic using a crontab but ../cron.php file does not do it if i invoke it using php -q .

Will update the post if i find out more.

Hi guys,

I have been searching to setup a incoming email address for GLPI that will auto create a ticket based on the info of the email but i cannot any documents related to this.. I see the mail "gateway" function but not sure how that would create tickets. I set up RT with incoming mails and that works grand.

OS: Opensuse 10
GLPI Version: .70.1

Any ideas ? links ? In english svp...

Also I did set up a mail gateway but it says : Number of available and retrieved mails: 0

But there are 3 emails available...
