The Fusioninventory rules have an inventory of phones (Rules -> Equipment import and link rules).
How is it done if it doesn't support SNMP?

Hi anyqov,
if a phone is connected to a switch providing CDP, LLDP or EDP informations, the plugin may recognize a phone linked to a port and decide to inventory it. There are some hard-coded rules for that if I remember well.

Thank you! I'll see what my switch supports.

The Fusioninventory agent polls the switch over SNMP and gets the phone information, right? No additional installations required?

I have enabled SNMP inventory of the switch to which the phone is connected.
Allowed rules: Phone constraint (name), Phone update (by mac), Phone import (by mac), Phone import denied.
How do I enable phone inventory and discovery tasks?
