After the upgrade from 0.68 I can only see the suppliers that were added before the ugrade when I try to add them to a computer. Any suppliers added in 0.70 won't show up in the drop down when I try to add them as the 'Manufacturer'.
For example:
I want to add a new piece of software. I fill in all the information, except 'Manufacturer' because it has not been added yet. I complete filling in what I can then post the information. I go to 'Suppliers' and add the information for the company that makes the software. I go back to the software I entered before and the manufacturer I entered does not appear in the drop down. Am I doing something incorrectly?
Any ideas? Let me know if I can provide more information

in contracts , commercial informations.
We split manufacturer and suppliers which are 2 different concepts

Creating that split does not work because there is not a good way to store a company's information in the new system, such as phone numbers and web url's.

you need extra informations about suppliers.
To and informations on manufacturer you can use comments but I think you will use it seldom.
Using OCS manufacturer are auto created. Not suppliers.

To me suppliers and manufacturers are one in the same. With the new setup I would be forced to use notes and comments seldom. Previously I would store usernames and password for obtaining updates with a manufacturer. I would also link documents.

Suppliers and manufactures are not the same.
You could by both IBM and HP to one suppliers for example.
