Hi,
I have about 40 switches (48 ports).
I set time slot entry:
Monday 19:00 - 24:00
Tuesday 00:00 - 05:00
Tuesday 18:00 - 24:00
Wednesday 00:00 - 05:00
Wednesday 18:00 - 24:00
Thursday 00:00 - 05:00
Thursday 18:00 - 24:00
Friday 00:00 - 05:00
Friday 18:00 - 24:00
Saturday 00:00 - 05:00
Agent wakeup interval (in minutes) and number of agents to wake up - no set (field is clear)
Re-prepare a target-actor if previous run is successful - yes.
In general configuration 'Inventory frequency (in hours)' I have set to 3. And this is my fraquency od SNMP job.
The task begins at all switches at the same time and takes from 1,5 to 5 minutes maximum on each. Not much but I have a big problem with backups that take a few hours longer than when tasks are down. At the moment I am still before configuring the vlanes.
Can these tasks actually generate such a storm?
What's your configuration? How often do you check your switches and how many do you have?
