OCS Import

I have successfully imported some of the information from OCS version 4.1.00, but no matter what I try I can't seem to get the software to import, any tricks I should know about to get the software imported?

P.S. I had a lot of custom fields in OCS, is there an easy way to import those along with the appropriate device or do I have to recreate and manually enter all that information?

you need to use the ocs dictionnary or say in the ocs mode config not to use it.

No numbers may be different and will be different because on import GLPI merges same softwares.
So number in OCS > number in GLPI

The import still didn't bring over any software from Microsoft, there are no Microsoft Software Patches, no Microsoft Office XXX, no Microsoft software at all. The only software that it imported was Linux based.

are you sure what your windows computers have been synchronized ?
You can force the synchronization process to try.

None of the software has been categorized, it's all sitting in the same category, New. I have also tried the force synchronization and it's still not showing up

Although some of the Linux software was imported, nothing seems to be tied to a computer, it doesn't appears as if any of the Windows software was imported and without it being imported it wouldn't be tied to a computer.
