Import - Excel

I have an excel file that I have been using for Inventory purposes. The file has several sheets for Printers, Monitors, PCs, Faxes etc. Is there a way I can import all of this into GLPI and then assign the details to inventory from OCS?

Thanks,

Re: Import - Excel

Yes, it's possible with GLPI version 0.70 and the data_injection plugin which is designed for very flexible  csv import.

The "robust" solution is probably to deploy the OCS agent and then import the missing data from CSV, but you can also import the CSV and then link the OCS computer to existing GLPI computer.

Re: Import - Excel

I downloaded it, put it in the plugins directory, now what? What section does this fall under?

Update:
I figured things out and it seems like a great way to get my stuff in without having to spend too much time on entering everything again or losing it. smile

Thanks,
Mandeep
