E-Mail follow-up configuration

Good mornig!! I´m trying to configurate the Email follow-up but It´s really hard, i have a proxy but It doesnt have password and testing with or without proxy the sending mail fail, so I´d like someone explain me the correct form to configurate the e-mail follow-up.
