New Items in Inventory List...

Hello ..!

   How I can add more items to the inventory list some monitors, soft, LAN.etc...

   I need integrate the components like hard disk, DVD/CD readers, modems, ports, etc...into the inventory list to obtain report for this for status, count, etc ???

Well, I've already read the Wiki, the help pages and this forum.. but I can't still figure out the way to create new components. In 'Administration\Setup\Components' I can only add stuff for the existing types of components, but I can't create a new type.. any ideas?
