Useable for multi site / multi contract support?

Can you handle multiple companies in GLPI?
I mean we offer support for multiple companies so we need to inventory harware & software.
So can we bind a hardware to certain company? Can we run reports by companies?

Can we store user data here? Employees with email addressess, etc by companies?

In current snapshots there are "Entities", and all Objects in the database are bound to these. Users of glpi can only see thore objects that are below there own (the users) position in the entity-tree.

Ok. Stupid question.. How do you switch between entities? How can I see it working in online demo?

the demo is a 0.68X version so there are no entities in it.
