Switch inventory

Hello.

I don’t understand if it is possible to automatically add switch data to GLPI?
To do this, install the Fusioninventory-agent on the switch?

The “FusionInventory SNMP” item in the “Network Devices” section hints that this is possible. Now CPU usage (in%) is 0%.

GLPI 9.4.2
FusionInventory 9.4+1.1

Re: Switch inventory

you need install the plugin fusion inventory correctly according by your glpi version.
next step it's install an agent (can be installed on server or other machine)
next step it's setup and configure tasks for discovery and other task to make inventory SNMP devices

after these steps, you can run a task through your network, and that task will encounter some devices connected to network.
at the end of the task you can import these found assets.

Re: Switch inventory

Task is running. Getting an error:
[Wed Nov 27 14:40:51 2019][error] [thread 2] #1, [thread 2] SNMP communication error: no response from host 10.200.2.252

The target switch is on a non-standard port, in which case, how to specify the address?
