Hallo together,
We are using GLPI 9.2.4 and FusionInventory 9.2+2.1.
We are not using OCS.
Is it possible to automatically merge Software with Dictionary rules?
We have ~2000 entries in Software like Adobe Flash Player NPAPI. All entries have the same Publisher.
I created a dictionary rule:
Logical Operator: and
Active: Yes
Criteria: Software starting with Adobe Flash Player NPAPI
and 3 actions:
Action 1: Software assign Adobe Flash Player NPAPI
Action 2: Publisher assign Adobe Systems
Action 3: Entity assign Root Entity
The publisher will be set if I "Replay dictionary rules", but it doesn't merge the entries to one entry.
Second problem is, that if the software is in another entity (not Root Entity) the rule doesn't change the entity to Root Entity.
I searched the forum, but I cannot find a real answer for this. I have tried some suggested solutions (like with regex, etc) but nothing is working.
Have one of you m8's an idea, an information or an explanation, please ? ;-)
